Student Education
Student educational opportunities at The Optimum Performance Program (TOPP) are focused on applied research initiatives aimed at goal accomplishment through family-based interventions. Students initially join existing research teams, and within their first year are expected to coordinate their own research projects, and/or coordinate aspects of existing research projects.
Most undergraduate students who have participated in TOPP have disseminated their work in professional conferences, and all graduate students at TOPP have disseminated their work in scientific journals or books. Indeed, graduating students at TOPP have published between 4 and 11 scientific publications during their doctoral training. Thus, students at TOPP are highly productive while gaining experiences that are vital to their education.
